The Scholarship

• Amount: up to $1000 – may vary annually*

• Application Due Date: March 1

• Eligibility: Student must be a high school senior** or junior college student and a Sonoma County resident, with a demonstrated talent in music and a history of involvement in music. Preference will be given to students who will continue to study infields related to music or the performing arts.

• Requirements:

1. Completed application form and attached resume

2. A video or audio recording of a performance to demonstrate your talent***

3. A letter of recommendation, with preference given to letters submitted by a

performing arts teacher or coach

Application Checklist: Please be sure to include all the items below in the order listed:

1. Completed Application Form

2.  Transcript

3.  Activities sheet/resume (optional, but preferred)

4.  Essay (1 page) focusing on music performance and future educational plans

5.  Letter of Recommendation (preferred, letter is music-related)

6.  Video or audio recording (either as an online attachment or link)

*The Healdsburg Chorus reserves the right to make no award or to award a scholarship totaling less than the full amount to one or more applicants.

**Or the equivalent, between the ages of 15 and 21

***Applicant gives permission to the Healdsburg Chorus to post or share any submitted recordings or

videos and to announce winners on its website, promotional materials, and social media profiles
