In Good Company is a celebration of human connection — the ways we gather, share stories, support one another, and find belonging through music and community. Blending folk traditions, Broadway classics, spirituals, and contemporary choral works, the program explores companionship in all its forms: joyful, humorous, vulnerable, reflective, and deeply sustaining.

The first half of the concert, Gathering Together, welcomes audiences into a vibrant musical community of neighbors, dreamers, storytellers, and fellow travelers. Songs of invitation and shared journey open the evening with warmth and optimism, while beloved selections from musical theatre and folk traditions reveal the hopes, humor, longing, and individuality that shape every community. From the aspiration of The Impossible Dream to the playful storytelling of Johnny Schmoker and the communal energy of Tshotsholoza, the first half celebrates the simple but powerful act of people coming together in song.

Following intermission, the concert turns inward with Light for One Another, exploring the ways people care for, comfort, and uplift one another during moments of vulnerability and uncertainty. The newly formed Healdsburg Singers chamber ensemble performs intimate contemporary works centered on compassion, presence, and emotional refuge, while additional selections reflect themes of belonging, resilience, wonder, and hope. Broadway songs, contemporary choral music, and spirituals combine to create a deeply human portrait of encouragement and shared experience.

As the evening unfolds, the music gradually expands outward — from intimate expressions of care to soaring songs of wonder, freedom, and communal joy. The concert concludes with the electrifying spiritual Music Down in My Soul, affirming the power of music not only to entertain, but to strengthen communities, inspire empathy, and remind us that none of us journeys through life alone.
